How long does a free survey take?
A typical home survey takes between 30 and 60 minutes. We'll look at your chimney, measure the fireplace opening, assess the room and discuss exactly what you're looking for. There's no rushing — we want to get the right solution for your home. We follow up with a written quotation within 24–48 hours.
Is the survey really free with no obligation?
Absolutely, yes. We visit, advise and quote at no cost and with no pressure whatsoever. Many of our customers have visited other suppliers before coming to us, and we're happy for you to take your time. The quote is written and itemised — you keep it whether you proceed with us or not.
How quickly can you install?
Installation lead times vary with the time of year. During summer months we can typically schedule within 2–3 weeks of the survey. During autumn and winter (our busiest period), lead times of 4–6 weeks are common. If you have an urgent requirement, call us directly — we always do our best to accommodate.
Do you supply the stove as well as fit it?
Yes — we are a full supply-and-fit service. We work with a number of quality suppliers, and all fireplaces and hearths are supplied by Lucy Nolan and Sons, Ballon, Co. Carlow. You have one point of contact throughout — we handle everything from initial survey through to the final certificate of installation.
